This year, in the US alone, approximately 600,000 cancer patients will pass away, and for 80% to 90% of those patients, their death will be due to a tumor no longer responds to current treatments at dose levels that the patient can tolerate or survive. The death of a loved one can change the lives of those around them in ways that can be permanent and often difficult to endure.
